Piano Moving

Piano Moving

If you need to move your piano you really need to be getting people on the job that know what they are doing. Particularly with some of the more delicate pianos out there. We understand that some moving companies do offer this particular service. There is one thing to consider here though. Moving companies need to work fast, time is money for them. With us, it’s more important to ensure that things get to where they need to be safely. That’s what’s going to keep us in business. We feel that alone says a lot about the way that we work.

Keeping The Piano Balanced Even In Lifting

One of the more common mistakes that folks who don’t know how to deal with pianos make is not ensuring that the piano is essentially balanced when you’re lifting it. That’s why we use a special crane to lift the piano so that it can be lifted evenly if you will. It’s also the same reason why trying to team lift a piano is bound to be a bad idea no matter how you try and frame it.

Will The Piano Be Traveling Alone?

For the most part yes. We’ve mentioned that you probably don’t want to leave your piano in the hands of the moving company because they are going to want to put things on top of it or if anything is a bit loose in the truck things can go south quickly. Even if we were to be taking multiple items on the trip with the piano we’ll make sure that everything is properly fastened to ensure that they stay in the same place throughout the trip. This is obviously going to minimize the possibility of anything strange happening if you will.

How Far Can You Go?

We are typically going to be doing moves in and around the LA area. We’ve also moved in-state up as far as San Francisco and the Silicon Valley area. We’ve also had out of state trips to Vegas with some very interesting pianos that were presumably used in a variety of shows there after. What we are trying to say is that we are open to cover some ground without a doubt. Let us know where you need to have your piano go and we’ll let you know how we feel that we can get it done.

Do Pianos Need To Be Tuned After Moving?

This isn’t something that we would say has to be done or else you are going to be facing very negative consequences. What we do want to do is make sure that everything is operational. So it’s not a bad idea to clean and give the piano an all-around check-up to make sure that things are working properly. To go as far as to say that you need to have it tuned after having it moved could be a bit of a stretch. If you want to do it then we can of course get it done.
